No one really understands Madeline, but that's part of what makes her so awesome. She's incredibly awkward and hasn't really figured out yet that she's a cat, so we end up in some pretty funny situations. Aside from not being able to purr or meow (because of a serious respiratory infection she had as a kitten), she does make some really weird sounds with every action and movement. It's like the noises give her strength, which she often needs for things normally pretty easy for cats... like jumping.... she's one rare cat that can't jump. She also has the most random sleeping habits, and will usually pass out wherever she falls.
This time she didn't make it all the way onto her pillow, but decided half on/half off the couch was good enough for her:

At least there is absolutely no doubt that she's comfortable in her home with the people!!!!
