Sunday was another city sponsored spay day, which meant dogs and cats from the community were sterilized and vaccinated free of charge. As with any sterilization event there is a limit on the number of animals that can be done in a day, but Sunday we broke a new record with 54 cats (and 64 dogs). It was a very long day (12 hours!!) but absolutely worth it!! And with kitten season just around the corner it's even more important to have as many feral cats sterilized as possible.
