Great news on an otherwise odd day- I can send the black & white kitten I trapped from my neighborhood colony to Maryland as well!! Right now I've got the little white kitten playing inside a large dog crate (he's actually discovered the joy of cat toys!) and the b&w kitten hanging out in the room (outside the crate). That way they can get used to each others smells without actual contact - until they're ready to snuggle!!!
They both will go for testing and vaccines on Saturday, and once those are complete they'll only have one more week until they make the journey into their forever homes!!!
I'm so happy we could add a second kitty to the rescue mission, getting one more off the streets and living the life it deserves:)
And a million and one thanks to Charlotte for her amazing donation that will go toward testing and vaccinating the kitties (and helping to save their furry lives)!!! This is what the holidays are all about!!!:)
